Health Warnings & Safety Information

Thanks for choosing CompressiveX. Everything you need to set up, use and look after your gear is below.

Please read these warnings before using your Recovery Knee Brace – Spring Support or Recovery Flex Pack. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

Dual Thermo™ Packs (hot and cold gel packs)

  • Temperature-sensitive product. Always check the temperature before use.
  • Use a thin towel or cloth if you are sensitive to heat or cold. Do not apply directly to skin if uncomfortable.
  • For heat: microwave in 20-second intervals only. Do not overheat. Never microwave while inside the brace or wrap.
  • Do not freeze immediately after heating. Allow the pack to cool to room temperature first.
  • Inspect your skin every 5 minutes during treatment. Remove immediately if skin becomes red, numb or discoloured.
  • Do not use on open or broken skin, including broken, bruised skin. For external use only.
  • Do not use if punctured, damaged or leaking. Keep away from sharp objects.
  • Consult a doctor before use if you have circulatory or sensory conditions, diabetes, or reduced skin sensation.
  • If gel contacts skin or eyes, wash thoroughly with water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
  • For repeated or extended use, consult your doctor.
  • Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. For cold therapy, packs can be stored in the freezer, but do not freeze continuously for more than 72 hours.

Gel pack contents: sodium carboxymethylcellulose, glycerol, purified water, medical-grade preservatives.

Recovery Knee Brace and Recovery Flex Pack Wrap

  • Fit snug, not tight. Do not overtighten the straps.
  • For extended wear, loosen the straps every 4–6 hours to avoid pressure and keep circulation free.
  • Loosen or remove straight away if you feel numbness, tingling or increased pain, or notice a change in skin colour.
  • Remove the gel pack before running, training or active movement.
  • Recovery Knee Brace: not suitable for extreme load-bearing or vigorous bending and straightening of the knee.
  • Recovery Flex Pack: not for use in water.
